Community Guidelines

CamoSpace is intended to provide a place for real discussions about the outdoor lifestyle. We created the Community Guidelines so you can help us achieve this goal. Generally, post only our own photos and videos and always follow the law, don’t spam people or post nudity. By using CamoSpace, you agree to these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Use. We’re committed to these guidelines and we hope you are too. Overstepping these boundaries may result in deleted content, disabled accounts, or other restrictions.

Share only your own content or content that you have the right to share. You may post your own writings, photos and videos. Do not post anything you’ve copied or collected from the Internet that you don’t have the right to post.

Do not share Adult content.
CamoSpace does not allow sexually explicit content. This includes writings, photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, female breasts, and fully- nude buttocks. We have zero tolerance when it comes to sharing sexual content involving minors, non-consensually posting intimate images of others, or threatening to post intimate images of others.

Follow the law.
You may not use CamoSpace to violate the law. Offering sexual services, alcohol, and tobacco products between private individuals, and buying or selling illegal or prescription drugs (even if legal in your region) are also not allowed. You may not use CamoSpace to coordinate poaching or selling of endangered species or their parts. Remember to always follow the law when offering to sell or buy other regulated goods. Do not post content providing instructions for creating lethal or toxic substances or weapons, such as explosives, bombs or grenades.

CamoSpace is not a firearms dealer
CamoSpace is intended for authentic discussions involving outdoor activities, including hunting and other gun sports. As such, CamoSpace does not prohibit private individuals over the age of 21 from offering, selling or buying rifles, guns, or firearms on the site. While CamoSpace does not prohibit such activity, CamoSpace is not engaged in the business of dealing in firearms, is never involved in transactions between private individuals, and does not certify, investigate, or in any way guarantee the legal capacity of any individual to transact. Furthermore, as any such transactions are strictly between private individuals, CamoSpace is not responsible for any transaction that may or may not take place. CamoSpace cannot be held accountable for any accidents, injuries or deaths that are incurred through the sale of firearms through CamoSpace’s services. Users are reminded they should follow all federal and state laws, and that state laws vary state to state. If you are at all unsure about firearm sales or transfers, contact the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive at 1-800-ATF-GUNS and visit the ATF website at http://www.atf.gov.

Don’t hate.
Do not post content supporting or praising terrorism, organized crime, human trafficking or hate groups. We may remove content that contains credible threats or hate speech, content that targets private individuals to degrade or shame them, personal information meant to blackmail or harass someone, and repeated unwanted messages. We do generally allow stronger conversation around people who are featured in the news or have a large public audience due to their profession or chosen activities. Serious threats of harm to public and personal safety aren’t allowed. This includes specific threats of physical harm as well as threats of theft, vandalism, and other financial harm. We may work with law enforcement, including when we believe that there’s risk of physical harm or threat to public safety. Do not encourage violence or attack anyone based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disabilities, or diseases.

Don’t overshare.
CamoSpace does not allow content that reveals sensitive personal information. Do not publicly post personal ID and/or passport information, private contact information and addresses, online login information (usernames and passwords), photos or videos of private people that they don’t want posted online, personal financial or medical history, or other similarly sensitive personal information.
